In the book, we have just read about how the boy went to see his father in the jail. The red faced man was mean and the boys father was sad. The father told the boy not to come see him again and that he would send word of how he was with the visiting preacher. Write a comment about what you think will happen next in the story and why you think it will happen. Please post your comment by Wednesday morning, before we read further in the book. It will count for a grade.

I think there going to let his dad get out of jail .The mom might have cake left for him and he might find sounder and go hunting again.

I think that sounder going to come to life and his dad is going to get out of jail .

What I think thats going to happend is that the boys father is going to send them a letter and that Sounder will come back and be alive.The book has gotten very interesting.I like that story a lot.

I think he will go home and tell his mom that his dad wil send a preecher to tell how he’s doing.Then he will porbelly go to sleep then wake up and see his mom at the door talking to the preecher.Then she will close the door and tell him to come sit in her lap and she will tell him how he’s doing and she will say somthing like your father said he’s good and he wants yu to be good and he will be back soon.Then he will go and open the door and leave and look for sounder and he will hear him crying then he will follow the cry then see him lying there.thats all i know.

I think the will come home crying his mom will ask what happend. the boy will tell her what happend when he brouht the cake to his dad. he told her that maybe send a preeder of how his dad is dieing and he told his mom what happend when redheaed man had destroyed the cake he going give his father. thats all I know

I think he will go home and tell his mom to return the food that was stolen by his dad and then there dad went to jail for robben the store and thats all I now from the story
